On august 15,2000, I went to a hanson concert with my friend Juliet and my dad.
When we got there, we had to wait outside nearly an hour just to get into the Aerial theatre (the place where they were performing). The line was moving really slow, i dunno what was going on. But like right when we got there, we saw their bus, and all these girls were over there screaming and everything, but we just missed it, they had just came out of their bus :(
Anyways, when we finally got in there, it looked really small!!! in the back there were these curved bench type things, and there was a little balcony, and I remember that I was mad at my dad for getting General Admission, but I was really glad that he did, cuz I got up really close, i wasnt even on a bench, I was just standing near the stage with my friend, although my dad could care less about the Hansons so he just sat near the back.
Ohh, we snuck my camera in also, you are not sposed to have them, and I had mine in my pocket with my shirt over it so nobody saw it, I got freaked out when they checked my dads pockets cuz I thought they were gonna check mine too. But thank God they didnt.
So anyways, my friend Juliet is really short, and there were tons of tall girls there, (I'm a short one myself), and it was pretty hard to breathe with all those people there. My friend Juliet was trying to squeeze up to the front, so I started trying to also, but this old lady kept on pushing me back and she wouldnt let me up there with her, the old bitch. I told her i was trying to get to my friend, but she still wouldnt let me by, I shoulda ripped her wig right off her head. lol. hehehe.
So now, me and my friend are like totally separated, and the Hansons are sposed to be out on the stage any minute, so I just kinda forget about her and try to work my way up to the stage. it was literally impossible, it was so frickin crowded!!! So I just sorta stood there and waited for them to come out. All of a sudden, it happened, the lights went out, the fans screamed, hehehe, they didnt get the lights turned off soon enough to where we wouldnt get to see them run onto the stage. I started screamin and clappin, (im a diehard Hanson fan) but believe this or not i dont even remember what their first song was :} and i thought i was gonna loose it cuz all these people are jumpin up and down on ure feet and clapping their hands right up against your head and nudging you in the ribs trying to get by you. the security had to help tons of the girls out of the audience cuz they were all fainting and getting sick, luckily that didnt happen to me. But it was totally wild there. Some of the people there get really p'od if you like rest your arm on their shoulder cuz you cant even get them down to your sides, I mean, what do they expect us to do?? Although, if it would have been in rows, I'd have been in the third row, and all of the people are pushing trying to get to the stage.
Anyways, at one point of the show, this girl took her bra off and started waving it in the air for the hansons to see, they were playing a slow song, (wish that i was there, i think) anyways, all these girls started screaming at her, "put your damn clothes back on you damn bitch!!" or "you sorry slut hanson would never want that!!" I started laughing and yelling at her too, the Hansons are Christians, its true, they would never want that. and alot of the girls near the back were gettin p'od at something cuz they were really screaming at us to move back, I mean they coulda done it politely, not, "get the FUCK back!!!" lol. and in a little while, Zac came out with his squirt gun, he squirted me right in the face really good, that cooled me off!! hes gettin tall too!!! hes almost taller than taylor!! (who is 6 ft) so, at the end of the show, after they walked off the stage, all the girls started screaming, "hanson, hanson, hanson!!!" and after bout a minute of that, they came back on the stage, and i started jumping up and down glad that they came back, but then I realized that my camera had fallen out of my pocket, i swear, i thought i was gonna have a heartattack right then and there.
I dropped down to the floor trying not to get my hands smushed from all the people jumping around. I eventually found it after they played another slow song and things calmed down. So, after their last song, which was "Summertime Blues", (that song sounded really kewl the way they were playing it!!)I found my dad and my friend, and when we walked out of the Aerial Theatre, i could barely hear a thing, I was like halfway deaf!! my friend just started laughing cuz i was freakin out. hehehe. that was the best time of my life!!!!!
